Tiffany & Co. recently unveiled their collaboration with “Happy“ singer Pharrell Williams: The Tiffany Titan collection. Inspired by Greek mythology’s Poseidon and his emblematic trident, the jewelry collection features “bold designs [that] are an expression of one’s energy, power, and force.” How fitting that K-pop powerhouse Rosé of BLACKPINK attended the launch in an outfit that boldly showcased her fashion finesse.
All of the pieces in the Titan collection feature a sharp angular spear motif intertwined with a link — Williams’s unique take on the sea god’s trident. Rosé donned the earrings in yellow gold with diamonds and the matching clasp necklace. She also sported the ring in titanium, gold, and diamonds, which features a black titanium band intersecting with the gold motif.
Allowing her jewelry to really shine, Rosé opted for a soft colour palette in her outfit choice. She wore the Zimmerman Matchmaker Silk-blend Bustier Minidress in pink, perhaps a deliberate nod to her stage name, as the dress’s shimmer is reminiscent of rose gold. The dress provided a nice contrast to the sharp edges of the Titan collection’s jewelry by accentuating her curvy, hourglass figure. It was also a smart choice as it can be challenging to let choker-style necklaces take center stage, but the dress’s cat-eye neckline succeeded at just that.
For the launch event at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue, Rosé wore the Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps in beige, matching the dress’s soft colour. Behind-the-scenes shots show she mixed her dress with the Vivienne Westwood Elevated Ghillie Platform shoes in blue-coral — a possible nod to the timeless Tiffany & Co. blue.
The Tiffany Titan collection is available now exclusively on Tiffany & Co.’s US website and at the Landmark in New York City. It will become available worldwide in June for those who want to own these bold, innovative pieces.
